Two exchange programs are available to students: the International Profile and CRÉPUQ (the Conference of Rectors and Principals of Quebec universities).

Admission criteria

  • Be enrolled as a regular student in the professional master’s program in international studies (with research paper/internship)
  • Have completed the program’s required courses
  • Have 12 elective credits available
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or more (out of 4.33) at the time you apply, and maintain until your departure abroad
  • Satisfy the host university’s language criteria
  • Have Quebec student or permanent resident status, or Canadian student or permanent resident status

International Profile program

This highly structured program—unique to Université Laval—allows students to attend an institution of higher education that has partnered with HEI. Because conditions have been negotiated in advance, students are assured of a top quality educational experience. What’s more, the program lets participants specialize in a specific area, depending on the host school’s expertise. And because formal agreements have been signed between HEI and participating institutions, administrative procedures are kept to a minimum.

Partner institutions
