Master of international studies

Qualifying courses

Students accepted into the master’s program in international studies come from a variety of undergraduate programs. HEI has therefore developed a series of qualifying courses to ensure that all students share the same body of knowledge. These courses equip HEI students with basic tools that will be invaluable while they study for a graduate degree in international studies.

Students may choose from a total of six qualifying courses in each of the three disciplines that comprise the pillars of the program—law, economics, and political science.
