Véronique Guèvremont is a full professor in the Faculty of Law and holds the UNESCO Chair on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
She is responsible for the Arts, Media, and Cultural Diversity research area of the International Observatory on the Societal Impacts of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology (OBVIA). She is a regular member of Centre de droit international et transnational (CDIT, Centre for International and Transnational Law), Cultures – Arts – Société Research Centre (CELAT), and Institut du patrimoine culturel (IPAC, Cultural Heritage Institute ).
She cofounded Réseau international des juristes pour la diversité des expressions culturelles (RIJDEC, International Network of Jurists for the Diversity of Cultural Expression ) in 2008 and created the Clinic for Cultural Law and Copyright in 2015.
